From the setup at the end, it sounds like this should work. What do you mean by it partially working? What happens?

Tweak the puppet. In the behaviour tab turn off "auto-look."

If you add a sky gadget to set the desired style/colour etc. from the start, then it will make sure the sky is correct from the first time the player sees it.

How are you darkening the room? Is it using the sun & sky gadget? Is that gadget powered from the start of the scene? Or is it in a timeline or delayed in some way?

A dream cannot be remixable, but scenes can. Go to a scene, then simply republish it as remixable.
