Spin a shape with move controllers

I want to spin a shape and then smear it similar to how Kareem showed how to sculpt a branch for a tree.

On ds4 that's by using the touch pad to give it momentum.

But I can't figure out how to spin the shape with move controllers. Tried all kinds of button combinations.

  double tap circle on the secondary move controller to turn on spin mode.

  Thank you. I would recommend adding more descriptions or tool tips. How did you find that? I have all tool tips and Infos activated but couldn't find that anywhere.
  I was happy to find the color picker shortcut in the description but the circle double tap...

  Circle double tap was shared by one of the devs. I’m sure it’ll get a tooltip at some point.
